Hack the Planet!! The iconic cult classic Hackers returns to the big screen, with a gorgeous brand-new 4K restoration.

In perhaps the best mainstream Hollywood film of the mid-'90s, Dade Murphy (Jonny Lee Miller, Trainspotting), a teenager who was arrested by the US Secret Service after writing a computer virus in his youth and banned from using a computer 'til his 18th birthday, discovers a plot by a nefarious hacker, 'The Plague' (regular Wes Anderson collaborator Fisher Stevens). Along with his friends Kate Libby (an early career Angelina Jolie), Emmanuel Goldstein (Scooby Doo's Matthew Lillard), Joey Pardella (Jesse Bradford, Bring It On), Ramon Sanchez (Renoly Santiago, Con Air), and Paul Cook (Laurence Mason, Prison Break), Dade must use their computer skills to find the evidence to stop 'The Plague' in tracks, while being pursued by the Secret Service and the evil computer genius behind the virus himself. A cybernetic thrill-ride that must be seen to be believed, Hackers is essentially a glossy, high-budget, live-action anime - well worth your time and worthy of cultural re-appreciation.

"[An] engaging and lively exploitation fantasy-thriller..." - Jonathan Rosenbaum, Chicago Reader

"Smart and entertaining..." - Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times

"this is like the only good hacking film ever made" - Zara, Letterboxd

"Hackers can save a marriage." - Sara Jean, Letterboxd
